All of a sudden, when 1 person adds something to their cart, it is showing up in other peoples cart. A customer yesterday said they saw another customers order in theirs.

If you don''t know the answer, you shouldn''t reply.
So I think I have the answer. We were having issues yesterday and restarted the web server (We host our own). For some reason something was cached in the browsers causing the problem. When we cleared the cache the problem seems to have gone away.

We thought it was fixed but it is back.
When you put an item in the cart it shows up in all active users carts.

Does anyone have any idea what can cause this? I am at a loss.

It seems to have settled down. I caught some hackers hitting the server pretty hard. I wonder if it had to do with restarting IIS 10 while people had open sessions. Anyone play with that kind of stuff?

Dear Mitch,
From our thought, a different type of browsers and PC will not share the cart cookies, also each customer is logged using their own different user, so it''s weird with that you have mentioned.
When we tried a test by adding an item in one of our PC and ask the other team to check his PC by opening your site, that other team does not see any of cart items added by us. So, unfortunately, we cannot replicate your issue.
If you can provide us the step by step how to replicate this, we will look into it.

Thanks.
I think 2 different computers have to be in the site and then you need to do a soft iis restart of the website on the server, then on restart I think you may see the problem. It might also do it when you reset the whole server with 2 or more people in the site when you do it. The carts can be empty. That''s as far as I got, but I was able to get rid of the hackers and have not had to do a restart since this morning.
Thanks for the help.

Hello Mitch,
From your last reply, we never got such issue like what you have mentioned. In normal behavior, browsers can''t behave like that, unless your files are hacked.
If you can submit this issue to our helpdesk ticket at https://helpdesk.vpcart.com/ and providing your FTP and Site admin login details, we can investigate further for you.
Thank you VPCART ADMIN
